There is an island in the Philippines that can boast the title of "most beautiful island in the world," My trip took me right there this time, on that island: Palawan.

Still almost virgin, Palawan is only one of the 7000 islands that are part of the Philippines. Getting there (specifically in the El Nido area) was almost like arriving in Jurassic Park, no joke.

These immense rock formations that emerge from the sea are wrapped in coats of vegetation of bright green color; what a show.

I dubbed them "the green icebergs" myself.

I think it is one of the few places I have had the pleasure of visiting (in Asia) where everything remains almost untouched.

The beaches are clean and white, preserved, and cared for by the local people with care and solidarity. There is peace everywhere, in perfect friendliness with the kindness and availability of the island's inhabitants, all super hospitable.

Another thing that left me speechless and my heart full of joy was seeing the proliferation of marine fauna, especially corals. This was probably the thing I was most pleased to see on this trip.

I saw a tide of corals, even near the beaches, exceptionally bright blue, which I had rarely seen before. I have finally seen a lot of them, and also a lot of shells.

It was not that difficult to draw inspiration for my new creations, with all these colors and shapes that this Earth has made me discover on this journey.
